We have but one thing in common, but then again, that is one thing we have in common with the rest of the world; we are all unique. Sweden does not record statistics on ethnicity, but does record statistics on country of birth and such. Like 10% of the population is non-European and 15% is other European. Also there are the Sami people, who are a recognized minority along with the Romani people.
The material manifestation of BAC, starting around 3000/2800 BCE [ 10 ], was distributed in Scandinavia up to modern-day Middle Sweden and southern Norway and on the eastern side of the Baltic Sea up to the southwestern parts of Finland (e.g. [ 11 – 13 ]).
For example, in the late 1500’s, Sweden expanded its borders to include parts of northern Germany, the Baltic countries, and even territories that previously belonged to Russia. The Swedish Empire continued to expand until the 1700. This provided ample opportunity for Scandinavian DNA to expand along with the empire.

Ethnicity The majority of the population are ethnic Swedes , or people who can trace most of their ethnicity to Sweden going back at least 12 generations. The Sweden Finns are a large ethnic minority comprising approximately 50,000 along the Swedish-Finnish border, and 450,000 first and second-generation immigrated ethnic Finns , mainly living in the Mälaren Valley region.
Since Sweden doesn’t gather statistics on the basis of ethnicity or religion, there’s no official population count of each of these five minorities, only estimates. The Jewish population in Sweden is estimated to be 20,000–25,000, the Roma 50,000–100,000, the Sami population 20,000–35,000. Though there are no official statistics on ethnicity, according to Statistics Sweden around 1,921,000 (20.1%) inhabitants of Sweden were of a foreign background in 2012.
